DIY PVC Mist-er / Spray water Feature / Garden Sprinkler

I built this earlier this summer just in time for the heat wave!

It’s such a versatile and easy to build structure I’ve used it for so many things! I figured while keeping the family cool it would work well to also conserve water by water the plants.

It also uses very little water (in comparison to a regular sprinkler so having it on for a long time isn’t going to necessarily break the bank!

I also discovered that my lounge chair fits perfectly between it, not to mention it’s been great to use for outdoor hot workouts!!!

Materials

You can pick up most of the materials at your local hardware store for the following 3/4″ pipe and fittings (I had to buy the mister Jets on amazon.)

2 ten foot lengths of PVC
3 end caps
2 elbow joints (90 degree)
2 T connections
1 pack quarter circle mister jets (12 count) Gorilla Glue or PVC glue to seal the components. 1 threaded female hose connector (slip fit) * good idea to find a rotating adapter that will attach to the hose so you don’t have som wacky twisting when connecting the hose.

It’s a fun project for the family and quick and easy to do with the family or just yourself! I find I’ve been using it way more than the little humans.
